I just turned a lease back in after 3 years a 2016 435i Gran Coupe. I had a Sub installed, CF Spoiler, Tints, and Black Wheels.
For my Black wheels I personally used Plastidip so I could remove it easily. It is NOT as good as Powdercoating but costs 1/10 the price since the cans only cost $10/each or so and you need 3-4 cans max.
If you go to a Tint Shop or something they might have a better product than Plastidip that can work well and be removed later easily.
I think there is a new peel off spray wrap that would work.
