The problem is that the few people that buy them will love them, but the number is just too small.
As BMW moves to the zf8at for everything and 4wd I think that the Alpina B3 touring is a completely adequate option for everyone considering the idea of an M3 touring.
Of course there is always this render of perfection. That plus M2C 6MT is all anyone ever needs in a 2 car garage.
