I'm sure the new C8 won't need it, but in my C6 and any other corvette I've had it was a plus. Different gearing between the first few gears, more aggressive spring rate, and felt way more planted than the base or magnetic ride options.
Plus all the cars I've sold were to people looking for that specific option allowing me to recoup a little more money.
