I am considering wheels that are the same width, and am trying to decide what spec tires I want.
I was given the option of 225/40 * 255/35 which seem narrow for 8.5*9.5 rims. The upgraded size recommended was 235/35 * 265/30.
However, I like the look of your setup with the extra sidewall filling ethe wheel gap without lowering.

Hi, haven't experienced any rubbing. I've driven around with a few adults in the car and no issues.
No noticeable change in turning radius
