How many of us driving ICE, immediately notice our range is down, due to a wet or colder day, (unless we reset the mpg every trip), or if the wind is against us on our daily journey?
Going to show up immediately, with a limited ~30 mile EV range. We can't hide an added energy demand, like a 10mph head wind, or needing more cabin heat.

You say that - but here’s this mornings effort.
Starting electric range - 33 miles.
Driving mode - electric
Total journey distance: 3.4miles - nursery run, pretty much constant 20-30mph
Outside temperature: 8c
Driving and comfort aids: all off incl. Bluetooth, iDrive screen, radio, lights, A/C and fan speed.
Range upon return: 15 miles
Tell me that’s not fundamentally flawed?
Even with range variations on ICE displays - it would drop by a % like that.
