They've taken that functionality off unfortunately. I think saying "hey Siri" still works if that's enabled on your phone and it's within earshot. |
Definitely works by holding the steering wheel button in, short press and you invoke Hey BMW hold it for a second longer and Siri jumps in.

Only if I've connected through Apple CarPlay. Siri doesn't get activated when the phone is only connected through Bluetooth.
