What's 100% wrong is how BMW sells/markets/describes it.
Adaptive Mode has been added in the G coded models. Previous Adaptive suspension in the 3-series was limited to the two primary base modes, Comfort and Sport. Adaptive Mode widens the working envelope, with a bias to comfort if driving steady.

Individual is also added to provide user selectable combinations.
