RS3 barely out performs the G42 with the B58 engine. In the end BMW really has no true competitor for the RS3 since G87 doesn't come with AWD but regardless of that G87 should be the better driver's car based on how the G42 XI compares with the RS3.
I don't see the appeal of an RS3 but then again I am not a fan of AWD nor Audi cars in general except for aesthetics on a few of them.

Don’t really agree m2 is far more sporty. Rs3 gonna be quicker around Nurburgring and def quicker straight line.
Rs3 did ring in nearly same time as f80 m3 cs and faster than prior gen m2 cs. It’s very fast.
