I have the same issue. I bought my M340i back in october 2019 and it happened within 2 weeks ownership. Sunshade would not close. BMW of Maui said they fixed it but it happens intermittently now. Its getting worse. Just today, I could not open the moonroof at all. I heard a ticking noise coming from the moonroof switch and it opened fine. Then it wouldn't close. As soon as i arrived at the dealership, it started to work again.
