Wheel Spacer Question
I currently have 2 cars:
- 2020 BMW M340i with wheel offset of 27
- 2018 Mercedes C300 with offset of 47.
I want to purchase a set of wheels that can work on both, which led me to look for wheels with offset ~45. In order for these to work with my 340i (offset 27), I likely need to add a ~15mm spacer.
I hear people talk about how spacers add additional load on the bearing, but what if I am adding spacers just to get it to match OEM specs? Is that still considered bad?
