Coming from a Jaguar XJ I must agree that Dakota leather is somewhat utilitarian. It reminds me of the leather in my 2001 Tahoe. That said, the sports seats are very comfortable.
I don't quite get why there is so much hate for the F30 interior
design. I would agree that the
quality of the materials and the feel of some parts is a bit of a let down. Still, it's not down to first gen XE levels, or that hideous silver plastic looking lump Mercedes put in the middle of so many of their cars a few years ago. Think Amstrad, my UK readers.
