I was in Seattle for a decade and despised (and still do despise) the Seahawks. Bandwagon fanbase, classless players, sleazy coach, you name it. I wasn't born or raised there so I had a 3rd party perspective. I can't tell you how many dorky techies I met at the WC game vs. Detroit who have only lived in Seattle for the past 5-7 yrs tops. They ditched their hometown teams or just didn't follow football period until it became fashionable to do so.

Your post made me think of another scenario for Flying Ace. Maybe he's a secret Warrior fan but he's too afraid to admit he's on this bandwagon thing, whatever that is. That must be it.
