I'm not sure all G20s are wired for this feature. Here are the major components needed:
51247430644: automatic trunk lid mechanism (Spindle drive, tailgate)
51247441014: automatic trunk lid mechanism (Trunk lid lock)
61319275121: automatic trunk lid mechanism (Switch for trunk-Centerlock)
The control unit appears to be the same across the line.
