I actually like the bottom of the dash being the color of the leather. In the old days manufacturers would match the carpets to the leather color as well. Today everything is about cost and number crunching.
I ordered a tanzanite blue over cognac. Black wheels, open pore maple trim. Reminds me of the very nice deep blue exterior / natural dark tan interior of the old school Mercedes S class.
