Apparently the G20 has two batteries: a lithium battery under the hood, and an AGM battery under the floor of the trunk. I assume one is primarily for starting the engine, and the other serves the massive amount of electronics in the car.
So when people are hardwiring devices that want a constant battery connection (dash cams with parking features), are they taking this into account and deliberately deciding which battery to connect to? I haven't seen any discussion about that so far. I'm wondering if the issue of over-discharging the battery (and getting warnings about it) could be mitigated by connecting to one battery vs. the other? Thoughts?
