Some colours should stay in the past, especially non metallic ones, it's like movie remakes, never as good as original, e46 M3 Laguna Seca Blue, e92 M3 Santoruni Blue, new model should be new colour, M340d-???, why? It's not that economical, unless you're doing astronomical miles and UK isn't that big to do big miles, I would choose M340i for sound, feel and inline petrol six experience all day everyday.
