I love this car but I can't help but think that whoever buys it may have difficulty with paperwork at some point. The post says it was properly federalized and otherwise documented to be registered in California. It has a federal compliance sticker and this California one:



Only problem is, this says 1995 BMW M5 with 3.6 liter motor. But the '92-'96 Euro-spec E34 M5 had the 3.8 liter S38B38 motor, which the listing also mentions.

So technically the California sticker pictured above is incorrect. It's only a minor detail and the car has been supposedly been successfully registered by multiple owners, but you never know if/when some DMV bureaucrat might decide to get picky about the details.
