At $300/month for 24-months even at a zero money factor, they'd have to be figuring depreciation of only $7,200 over two years. Even at only 30% depreciation, that means the car would have had an MSRP of $24,000?
Current M-B lease offers on a C300 for 36-mos with about $4,230 plus taxes and tags due at signing comes to $449. He got a great deal.

Yeah good point. I wasn't there with him when the papers were signed. I forgot to mention the agreement was only for 7500 miles/yr and was around May when Covid was really bad. I wouldn't be surprised if auto sales tanking at the time played a factor in the aggressive deal.
