There is of course another somewhat immoral side of the costcap, and that is the salaries of the normal personel.
I'm all for teams having the same amount of money and a fair chance for every team, and not the previous situation that some teams got to spend over 500 million a year where other teams had to do with maybe 50 million (so 1/10), but with the costcap, you also create the situation that wages of personell are under heavy stress. You create the situation that people might accept a lower wage than in other industries (looking at the skillset) just because of the love for the sport. But that also means a lower wage for a complete family with kids etc that have to be put through college etc.
So there is an unhealty side to it, even if it makes the sport more fair.
