I got a new battery installed in my 2020 330i and since then my iDrive screen is completely non functional. The screen won't power on at all it just remains dark. I tried some quick fixes that i read in the forums like holding power button down for 30 secs or removing neg. connection from battery for an hour etc. but still no startup screen or anything. Anyone ever heard of this happening after installing new battery? Could it be because I never registered the battery? I was going to order the device so I can register the battery anyway but if that doesn't fix it then I guess it's back to the dealer. I hope it's covered under warranty.
