Here's my NA m340i build from the SLP plant:

Order Received: 2/3
Scheduled For Production: 2/4
Production Begins: 2/4
Exterior Body Assembly Begins: ?
In Paint Booth: ?
Entering Assembly Line: 2/14
Assembly In Progress: 2/17
Quality Check: 2/17
Final Assembly: 2/18
Ready For Transport: 2/19
Awaiting Carrier Assignment
Dispatched From Factory
At The Port
In Transit
At The Dealership
Vehicle Delivered

For what it's worth, a genius I spoke with said they usually sit at Ready for Transport for about 8 days. He said that's an average time and not a firm guideline.

Also, he said they truck them into the U.S. and then they hit a ship somewhere in TX and then get delivered to a port. There was some uncertainty in his voice when he told me that, so I have no clue if that's truly the case. But I checked out some of the monroney stickers of NA builds at the GA dealer I bought from and they have Brunswick, GA as the port of entry. Guess time will tell!
