A new interpretation of the current M look. It seems to fit.
In California many are driving around [illegally] with no front plate attached, but for the few that I've seen with plates, it's offset just under the driver's side headlight.

On that picture the plates are not blocking anything. It looks ugly but it doesn't sacrifice cooling.

Now if you think adding to any side of the new G80 it will block air significantly
Well the tow hook seems to be under the passenger headlamp, so if all else fails you could mount it there using an aftermarket solution.
You still blocking the cooling and that's what I don't like.

I personally won't put them on but most if is will and it will be hard to find a good spot without effecting cooling.
...unless the tow hook mount allows for placement further left of the mount point.
