When I took delivery of my last car (Audi), I checked the tyre pressures shortly after and they were really over inflated. I recall someone on a forum telling me they do that when shipping from the factory. Can't remember the reason.
Perhaps the dealer didn't deflate them during the PDI checks if this is the case?
