As many have suggested, lower the pressures on your new tyres and don't rely on those shitty air machines in petrol stations. Get a tyre shop with proper gauges to check them monthly.
I pretty much dismissed this as my pressures are correct with iDrive and the door jam but having looked at this thread again and seeing yet more of the same issue I'm going to ask my local dealer to have BMW look into it when I put the car in sometime toward the end of next week.
