There is no way to force the update. You just need to wait until your vehicle comes up in the unknown algorithm that BMW uses to choose what vehicle get the OTA update.
Go to the Apps and when on Installed Apps (hit the left side of the controller) hit the Option button and choose Update Apps and Services. That will hopefully bring it back for you.
After all is done you may want to reboot iDrive (push and hold the volume button for about 30 seconds) just to make sure all is starting fresh.
