I've got the MHT version. no difference between them really as far as I can tell
bigger touchscreens on the MHT model, but drive 8.0 isn't great, the previous version was more user friendly. which I guess is why drive 8.5 is now coming out on some vehicles
the battery seems to work nicely if I'm on a motorway cruise. 40mpg is very likely if you stick to the speed limits over a 40 or 50 mile run.
if you are "pushing on" and on small roads, then mpg is anywhere between 20 and 30 and the battery doesn't seem to make any difference
