It's easy to check if front glass is acoustically isolated. One just needs to drop the frond window half way down, to look at the glass edge. Acoustic glass clearly shows a middle layer in between innner and outer glass surface if you look at it's edge.
Can someone from NA check if their front windows have this sandwich-like structure to resolve this dillema?

So I went to the dealer and saw a demo 330i, pretty base car. I was not planning on checking the windows, it was a pretty in and out thing, but when they opened the rear door the window was cracked a bit and I swear I saw a double glass.
I will need to go over again compare EU vs US cars to see.
