OK. More than likely it wants to send the latest 7/2020.xx version to upgrade your factory installed version.
You can try to uninstall the bmw connected app and reinstall it. See if that helps with your issue. Or check for software upgrade in the iDrive 7 menu.
If your car says it's up to date but your phone continued to insist on an upgrade but gets stuck (like the image you posted above) then I suggest calling bmw for help.
