Auto hold works well in the 5-series, very workable with sensitive driver inputs.
If the G20 has the same system, (appears to be a similar setup), then it isn't going to be an issue, plus you don't have to use it. I use Auto hold as an alternative to the parking brake, when situations suit it better.
