It seems that all new BMW vehicles,
not just US-Spec variants, are no longer wired and programmed for "two" functioning rear fog lights, as past generations of BMWs did.
Now, it's just [COLOR="DarkRed"]one,[/COLOR] singular light (Left or Right, depending on the region) and there is no direct OEM harness available to retrofit
two fog light outputs.
I guess the assumption is that only one fog light is required, to meet ECE regulations, so BMW can cut cost, however small, by eliminating the extra wiring, that's was just dead-heading.
