These days a loaner can't have over 5,000 miles on it to qualify for incentives as a "new" car so there's not much liability involved in terms of tires or brakes. Make sure the dealership is paying the extra to continue the Maintenance Program in your name, and lease the car since you wouldn't want to own any pedestrian BMW model out of warranty anyway.
