One of the guys in the company has the first c350e, not AMG line. Think he has the same complaints as my F30 330e, mostly small tank and rubbish mpg. Maybe the new 330e and C350e will give you the MPG you need. My 330e has put me right off hybrids for at 3 years (until my company car is renewed).
I'm happy with the mpg we get from our 330e though, typically 43-45mpg from most tanks. The range is the one thing I'd really want to improve, but seems that needs the larger cars to do, or this diesel option.
