Can you say something about adaptive vs. standard (M-Sport) suspension? How does 330d G20 compare to F30 regarding the engine?

I am driving a 330d F30 with M-PPK and well above 300hp today so I'm a little bit worried about the 330d G20 as there will be no PPK for this one.

I have only been in G20 car's with the adaptive suspensions...

From the passenger seat(and from what my friend says from the driver's seat)... the G20 is better in every way over the F30, in the driving dynamics. I have to agree from he way the car handles from the passenger seat.

When I said driving dynamics... the new G20 feels tighter, more responsive to me, than the F30's I have been in. It seems to handle better when your in a sporty mood(or driving fast!)... but yet in comfort it goes about it's business with little fuss or fanfare.

You can really feel that the car is more sporty, taughter, responsive, more go kart like. But yet, when your just cruising... the car is very comfortable. The car is comfortable cruising at 120 kph or even up too 210 kph... it is quiet and comfortable. The car's v-max is 254 kph(for the 330d). Both the 320d and the 330d feel to me(from the pasenger seat to be quieter engines with more torque. I think Hp is almost the same as before. Maybe a few Hp more.... but it's the torque that you feel!

You know when you are in a car and the suspension is too tight... rough over bumps or over sprung... this is not the case with the new G20. It has a very good ride - that is what impressed me most about the car(s) I have been in.

The G20's still have runflats... but the tires work really well with the new suspension. No tamlining or slamming when you drive over rough roads/potholes or dips in the road surface. When I have been in the F30... even from the passenger seat... one could tell that the car(F30) had runflats. In the G20, I couldn't tell the car had runflats - I had to ask my friend.

The G20 is very, very quiet at high speeds. I think this is because of the car's incredibly low Cd & the new glass(double-pane ?) and sound deadening. I did not notice any wind noise up to 230 kph. I have been driven, up to 254 in the four test car(s).

The other thing that I really liked from the passenger seat was the new Adaptive LED lights. They really work great, in traffic(with cars in front of you and on coming cars. And they are so much brighter than a F30 with xenon headlights.

I can't show you too many pics that I have... but here are a few I can share...

Enjoy,
Dackel
