I don't see the appeal of an RS3 but then again I am not a fan of AWD nor Audi cars in general except for aesthetics on a few of them.

The biggest and mainly only appeal of the RS3 imo is the 5 cyl Daza motor. I can't see why anyone else would buy it. It's a FWD based AWD system that under steers no matter how you put it. I guess it doesn't look like shit like the M2 does so that's a plus? Nice interior on new Audi's plus the virtual cockpit is arguably better then ID8 or whatever BMW has going on.
