Your perception of this forum and its members appears to be skewed. I think that if you spend some more quality time outside of the off-topic and political forums, you'd find that there is a large contingent of our users that are very knowledgeable about other automakers and the auto industry at large, and we have experience with many different brands of vehicles.

We're not having that discussion again, especially not in this thread.

At any rate, as I already said, investments into ICE technologies will be minimal from here on out. A CVT is not likely to be seen by BMW leadership and decision makers as a good place to spend money to hit future revenue targets.
