Had this happen as well, iDrive reset fixed but after a while the problem returned, and iDrive had to be reset again. It's a pita, because now I never know if the system is operational, in working order or not. Will it record an accident or will it fail? I understand this is a new feature, and now I'm anxiously waiting for an update that fixes this issue.
