I drove a Model 3 and Model S back to back

I drove them both for the first time yesterday, the Model 3 followed by the Model S. Definitely very cool! And they are so different from each other.

The Model 3 Performance may be competing with the BMW 3 Series but it does not have enough sound deadening material, so there is a lot of road/wind noise heard inside the cabin.

The Model S is very insulated and surely very relaxing to drive. Despite weighing close to 5,000 pounds, it feels sporty when hustled through corners, likely due to most of the weight being in the floor.

Steering on both cars felt very consistent and precise but offered no feedback just like other electric power steering systems.

I do love my M3, but it seems that, in the near future, with many electric car options including the recent Taycan release, it may be difficult to make a case for ICE. Of late, I'm realizing that I want my car to either sound great or not make any sound at all. Just saying.
