They would need a fully built motor with force induction added, etc. Basically almost nothing about the motor would be from the original car. A tune wouldn't even get them 50 HP on a stock setup. |
The new civic type r and accord could benefit more from software tuning as they have turbos. That engine makes over 300 horsepower stock in the type r. A tune should get to over 400 horsepower without the benefit of an electric motor. Also it runs on regular 87 octane stock in the accord with similar numbers to the B48 330i.
