I’ve heard of two people recently who had double blow-outs. In one case caused by a pot-hole (invisible in the wet), and in the other case a sunken drain cover, but in both instances it took out both the front AND rear tyre on the same side.
Perhaps, given the poor state of the roads (especially round here) we should carry TWO spares!
