Yes, that would be ideal but requires an API system. Our website is set-up to use API systems so the website updates automatically when an item is on backorder.
Unfortunately, most manufacturers do not use these systems. This requires us to manually check over 8000 products on the website and update inventory. We try our best but as you can imagine, this process has its flaws.
