I actually tested it shortly after I got mine last year. They key shuts of somewhere between 2 and 3 minutes from memory after no movement.

I put my wheelie bin about a meter from the car and time how long after movement I could unlock the drivers door. I put the keys on top of the bin so it was close to the drivers door handle.

We keep the car keys in a drawer away from the front door, but good to know after 3 minutes it can’t be used by one of those relay attacks.
