It's just that small tank that drives me up the wall, I regularly drive from central belt (between Edinburgh & Glasgow) to Inverness, Aberdeen, Moray and even Orkney recently. Mine would have to be driven VERY carefully to hit 300 miles out a tank even with a full charge.

My wife does a 110 mile round commute in ours and we are averaging 45mpg, with just charging in the evening, and even last week going from oxford to Perth we did 40mpg, so your consumption sounds high to me. Not disputing it, and I guess we all have different driving styles.

The small tank is a right pain though!

We were looking at the new E300de from Mercedes, which has a 2litre Diesel engine and a 64 litre tank along with 30miles from the batteries... range in that could be 800miles!
