Just picked up the new M340i. I have had the car about a week and a half now so I figured I would show some pictures of my new car and give some of my thoughts.

The car is mineral white metallic over cognac interior. I really love the combo. The white goes perfectly with the brown interior. Having owned or driven every 3 series since the e36 I must say that the G20 interior is fantastic. There is nothing I would change. Having only put around 700 miles on the car so far I haven’t really gotten hard on it, I’ve been waiting to hit 1000 miles. But I must say it’s feels fast and from what I have read the engine is going to be able to make some power with a tune. For living and commuting in the Chicago suburbs the traffic sucks and the driver aids are awesome. I’m pretty surprised with the mpg I’m estimating I can get low to mid 30’s all highway and that’s at 75mph.

I plan on doing a few mods,

I want to get rid of all the cerium trim and go black. I’m not sure what to do for the mirror caps, carbon fiber or body color, I know body color would be a lot cheaper. Thoughts on with one?

I’m going to do one black emblems and bmw badges and also delete the front refelector.

I’m going to get a set of snow tires for the winter. I’ve also considered getting some 19s with Michelin 4s next spring unfortunately my car came with all seasons.

When available I plan on doing a racechip tune to the car. Which with more power makes me want summer performance tires.

Overall I’m really happy with the car.
