I too have been using Lexol for many years, and love what it does to my jackets, furniture, steering wheels, etc.

But as I did my first application a few days ago, I got the impression it does very little for vernasca leather, because it can really only be applied to the protective coating on top of the leather.

It did seem to dissipate / dry quickly, which is one reason I like the product versus the gooey leather care products that leave residue. But I don't feel it really soaked into the leather. No doubt the softer leather on the steering wheel appreciated the conditioning, but as far as the seats go I'm not sure. With my jackets there is almost an immediate softening effect that takes place. I didn't feel this with in the seating surfaces.

Also curious if the stitched material on the door panels is leather or sensatec?
