Also, i3 with an unlocked Rex seems to be a much better choice. Hybrids are always going to be meh. Weight of the battery kills performance and weight of the ICE kills the range.
This will be ok for commuters who want an occasional road trip but with i3s being so cheap it's much easier to just get one and buy a used 328i for road trips
