What's with the 3 different lower front mesh setups ? 1 with no radar housing , 1 with a round edged rectangular radar , and 1 with a trapezoid radar housing ?

It's a very different look to the recently launched i3 front bumper , whcih had plenty of paint beneath the kidney grilles , whereas these leaks show a thin layer of paint , above a big ugly piece of black plastic nothingness

It looks like "cheap car" trying look good and expensive, bmw is going in wrong direction.
Fakery in new level, hopefully european Msport will look a lot better, agressive.
Still prefer my pre lci g20.

Looks like they just thought it needed change, for the sake of change. The rear M bumpers have been a bit weird as of late. The i4 M bumper has massive black plastic cutouts as well

U.G.L.Y. Why does the bumper design need so many sharp angles, compartments, nooks, crevices. Then, we've got dashes in the grill, slats and honeycomb in the bumper. Why not keep it uniform and consistent as with the past? Rear end is meh.

Not a huge fan of the rear, but I think the front is an improvement over the headlight shape of the non-LCI model. Looks a bit more like an E90/F30 now in the front, which is a good thing.

Still not a huge fan of all the sharp angles/creases down low, though. Hated that on the new 2 series, too. At least they didn't give the car the ugly 4 series grill treatment.
