I see rock chips on his hood. Let’s get some closer pics.

I have PPF on half my car and it hasn’t even saved me.

It really depends on how you drive and where you drive. My car has been pummeled.

If you want peace of mind do the PPF and skip the ceramic. If you want an easier wash job do the ceramic. Honestly this color needs both.

I thought about PPF too. the chip protection along the leading edges sure made me consider it. I finally decided that I could Dr Colorchip as needed (so far no need) and in five years, if I grew tired of my chipped up blue, I'd have it wrapped, possibly in a new color, as interior can go with most all..

I think you just convinced me. The cost I’d pay in PPF could just go to a wrap down the road. Brilliant!

Good eye, I do have some very small chips, 2 above rt headlight and 2 above roundel. I'm actually more concerned that DIY chip paint would show more. I've considered a 2 stage paint correction in a year or three, prob at one quarter to one third the cost of PPF, or a wrap if the chips are too much to deal with, for a new color refresh. You are right that it is dependent upon your roads.. our gated common road to highway is gravel, so I have to creep unless I want a dust roostertail. Love the color when I can keep it clean.

Team PPF will be happy to know I put a deposit down for PPF/tint/ceramic today. Ended up going with full front, A pillars, handle cups, door edge guards, rear quarter, and skirts.

Now the car needs to leave the port already.
