You’re saying you disconnected the battery, removed the DME, RECONNECTED the BATTERY, locked everything up?
I see people saying you have to leave your truck open with the DME out, but you’re saying that isn’t necessary?
I ask because I don’t have a garage, which means if I have to leave the trunk open while I wait for the DME to get back, I will have to rent a garage for a month.

You can close it; just be prepared to climb back into the trunk and unlock it via the latch inside.

I did not use a third party as well and shipped mine directly to Femto. Yes, you can reconnect the battery after the DME has been removed. Any errors will be cleared at the time of the reflash.

Yes sir. That's exactly what I did. Just don't try to start the car. The dash would probably light up like a Christmas tree.

The important thing is to disconnect the battery once again before you reinstall the unlocked dme.
