Hi guys, does anyone have any remap recommendations for the UK?

Seems to be lots of options following a google search so thought I’d see if anyone has any recommendations…

What year is your car? Newer ECU's are locked and would need to be sent to Europe to unlock. It would be easier to use a tuning box.

If it’s an MHEV it’ll definitely be post 2020.
the ECU will be locked and need to be sent away to Finland to be unlocked.

It’s 20 plate, I’ve spoken to DMS automotive who said they can remap it…

The question to DMS should be can they do it without sending the ECU to Finland to get it unlocked as that would add to the cost and time they'd need.

There are many types of plug in tuning boxes available such as this one

I spoke to DMS today about a remap, on a 2022 g20 they would need to send the ecu off to Finland for unlocking before mapping ecu and tcu, roughly 4-5 day turn around for the whole job

While not as good as a proper map I'd consider something like racechip tuning box. Well respected firm and far from a resistor in a box from years gone by.
You can then remove for resale
