Crack appearing in (leather?) seat, warranty ?

Hello everyone, I currently own a bmw g21 330i with the seats shown in photo.
I'm not sure if this would be warranty and also if this is normal, car is from 2019, I'm not sure this should be appearing.
Is this real leather or a fake type of leather ?
My goal is to prevent this from going further than just the small cracking, I am treating for now with meguiares utimate leather detailer.

They are going to chalk that up to wear and tear. Highly doubtful that would be under warranty. If you even had one now (2019).

That is cracking from excessive rubbing. That can be fixed cosmetically by a professional.
